About Amanda
Hi, I’m Amanda.

The story
Before starting The Simplified Haven, I founded and operated a clean beauty boutique and e-commerce business for nearly nine years. On the customer side, the work was about creating an inviting, thoughtful experience. Behind the scenes, it required practical systems for product sourcing, inventory, stockrooms, displays, staff workflow, online orders, and the hundreds of small decisions that keep a business moving.
That experience taught me that a space can look good and still fail the people using it. It also taught me that the best systems are rarely the most complicated ones.
Today, I bring that same combination of visual judgment and operational thinking to homes, moves, studios, and small businesses. I look at what needs to happen in the space, what is getting in the way, what can be reused, and what would make daily routines feel more natural.
As a mother of three, I know that homes are active, shared, and constantly changing. I do not believe organization should require perfection, hide every sign of family life, or depend on everyone following an overly precise system. It should reduce friction and make the next ordinary day easier.
How I Work
Keep useful pieces in circulation and purchase only what meaningfully improves the system.
Create homes and routines that feel intuitive on an ordinary day.
Keep the personality, history, and real life of the people using the space.
Background
At the end of a project
Not that your home has become a showroom. Not that you need to protect a perfect system. I want you to feel that the space makes more sense, the decisions are clearer, and everyday tasks take less effort.
